Intimate Moab Wedding
This intimate moab wedding day started in the beautiful casitas at Hoodoo Moab. Alex is glammed up by Lexi Harker, with her best friend by her side. Once Alex has her dress on, she wants a first look moment with her parents.
Meanwhile, Nick is getting ready in the casita next door with his brother. It’s so sweet seeing his brother help calm his nerves as he straightens his tie. And watching his parents help each other with the little details of getting ready is tender.
Outdoor Ceremony in the Desert
In the afternoon, we head to a little nook in the red rocks, where a local wedding coordinator set up their intimate outdoor ceremony. Alex and Nick’s highest priority for their Moab wedding is to be able to be present with each other and their loved ones. So they let nature speak for itself, and hire Bri (me!), a Utah elopement photographer to document every moment. We take a few photos with friends and family before heading back to Hoodoo to grab some drinks and escape the heat.
Intimate Dinner Reception at Hoodoo Moab
Alex and Nick dance together, and their loved ones share a few toasts over dinner, made by Josie Wyatt’s Grille at Hoodoo. Then, they spend the rest of the night hanging out with their friends and family on the patio while watching the sun set on the red rocks.
Sunset Adventure Session in Moab
The next day, I take Alex and Nick out to Canyonlands National Park for a sunset adventure session! This allows them to spend more time being present with their loved ones on their wedding day. While still getting the grand overlook sunset photos that Moab is known for.
