Intimate Wedding Day in the Mountains
Janell & Jordan’s wedding day felt straight out of a movie. From the downpour of rain that started mid-ceremony, to sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace at the end of the night. I love how their laidback, go with the flow personalities created a peaceful and intimate environment for everyone to connect and focus on the people around them. Janell & Jordan’s energies truly made you forget it was even raining.
While they kept their wedding day small and simple, they didn’t skip on the thoughtfulness. The little details from Janell being so excited to get her nieces dressed up and ready, their dogs walking them down the aisle, and the personal cutting boards Janell created for each guest.

Log Haven is tucked in Millcreek Canyon, a privately owned canyon in the Wasatch mountains. Only a 20 minute drive from the heart of Salt Lake City and 40 minutes from Park City.
I would recommend renting an Airbnb in Millcreek or Holladay if you are traveling to Log Haven for your wedding. If you are looking for something for just the two of you, there is this lovely swiss styled honeymoon suite located 10 minutes from Millcreek Canyon. But for a little more space and amazing views, you should absolutely stay at this alpine treehouse that overlooks the entire Salt Lake Valley!
