Engagement photos are your chance to announce to your loved ones that you are marrying the love of your life! They also give you an opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera and with your photographer before the big day. My goal is to guide you through that process and help you feel comfortable so you can have fun and your true selves can come out in your photos.

I believe your engagement photos should feel like you. I know getting in front of the camera can feel so awkward and I'm here to help ease that feeling. I encourage each of my couples to choose an activity they enjoy or a location they love so their session feels more like a date. I will read body language and get you two engaged with each other so you are in a more natural and comfortable state. My hope is that you're having so much fun, you forget I'm even taking photos!

Put on your favorite music, drink a couple beers, whatever will help you feel confident before your session. (and I'll help you with that too) But come ready to have fun and show your partner lots of love!

You'll receive sneak peeks within 72 hours of your session to hold your excitement over until your final gallery comes in 3-4 weeks!

I have plenty of location and outfit recommendations, and am here for anything you need! Before your session, I'll send you a questionnaire so you can tell me your love languages, PDA preferences, and more so I can know a bit about you two before we shoot.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Snowy days can be so fun and look so cool in photos! It is best to stick to our booked date unless weather is very inclement and unsafe. In this case we can find an indoor location or see if it is possible to reschedule. My calendar gets very full at times but I will do my best to work with you!

so how do i book?!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
I would recommend booking your engagement photos 1-2 months before you are wanting to shoot. But every month is different and sometimes I may have time for last minute sessions, so still reach out if you want to shoot next week!
Yes! I will travel anywhere within 6 hours of Salt Lake City for engagement sessions if I have the availability. Travel costs depend on the location. I will also book sessions if I am already in a destination with no travel fees. Watch for those opportunities on my Instagram!
