This Grand Teton Elopement was a beautiful day to document and experience alongside Bailey and Mike.

Grand Teton National Park is a very meaningful place for Bailey and Mike. They love camping and hiking here.

When it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted something simple and outdoors. Naturally, eloping in the tetons came to the forefront of their minds.

It had been a stormy week in Jackson, with a small summer snowstorm the night before their elopement day in Grand Teton National Park. The morning of their special day, the air was chilly with dark skies and heavy clouds covering the mountain peaks.

We started the day with one of their favorite hikes in the park. It was a short, relaxing hike with a beautiful lake at the end.

We hiked around the perimeter of the lake, stopping to take photos. Slowly the sun started to shine through the clouds and blue skies came into view.

That didn’t last long; the skies filled with clouds again. At least the temperature had warmed up by now.

Then, we split ways for the afternoon so Bailey and Mike could meet up with their families in Jackson. They headed to the famous cowboy bar in Jackson for lunch and drinks. 

A few hours later, we met up at Schwabacher Landing to get these two married! Bailey did a quick dress change just for the hell of it!

We were so happy to see the clouds had lifted, exposing the Teton’s in all their beauty. 

As they read their vows, the sun set behind them. Turning the clouds that were dark and stormy earlier that day, pink.

Lastly, the two ended the evening on a sweet note!
