A full day adventure in Mt. Rainier National Park
Corryn & Bobby wanted something epic, adventurous, but also deeply grounding when dreaming up their Mt. Rainier elopement. They have always dreamed of visiting the National Parks in Washington State. So when it came time to plan their elopement day, they landed on Mt. Rainier.
These two knew nothing about the park and were a bit overwhelmed with logistics, which is when they found me. A National Park Elopement Photographer! I work in National Parks all over the West Coast, and was so excited to guide Corryn & Bobby through planning their Mt. Rainier Elopement.
Sunrise Ceremony in Mt. Rainier
Corryn & Bobby wanted as much privacy as possible, so we started with a sunrise hike to Naches Peak and Tipsoo Lake where they read their vows while the world is quiet. What a mysterious, exciting experience it is to hike up in the dark and anticipate the view that awaits you… As we reach the top, the sky starts to lighten and we are engulfed in foggy, moody mountain views that keep us wondering when Mt. Rainier will pop out… Spoiler alert: Turns out she was feeling too shy to come out from behind the clouds. Only giving us a tiny peak as the sun came up. But honestly we are too in love with the enchanting and magical mood the fog brings to even care.
Dancing around Tipsoo Lake
On the hike down, Corryn & Bobby dance around Tipsoo Lake and dipped their toes in the water. Taking in every bit of this gorgeous trail. Then, we head back to Packwood for a coffee and brunch break to recharge from the early morning adventure.

Cozy Moments in the Forest
Corryn and Bobby love the moss and greenery in the forests of Mt. Rainier, and wanted to take some casual, cozy photos. So we met back up in the afternoon for some campground shenanigans and cocktails in the forest.
Mt. Rainier Waterfall Elopement
Last, but not least… The highly anticipated waterfall Corryn and Bobby could not wait to visit. Their jaws dropped when they saw photos of this waterfall on social media, and they knew they had to experience it for themselves!
It was even better than they could have imagined and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves! I loved getting to watch them experience this incredible place for the first time and gave them space to enjoy each other as their elopement day came to a close.
