Nikki and Tom wanted a simple and private wedding shared with those they love the most. They found a beautiful 23 acre property on VRBO located in Monterey, California that was the perfect place to host their special day. Renting a private property for a few days is a great place to hold your micro wedding. This way you and your family can stay together in one place to celebrate the events of the wedding day.

Ceremony

They started out with a small and private ceremony. They each had 3-4 guests. I love how intimate and special these moments are when it’s only the couple and a few of the people most important to them.

The couple is strongly bonded through music so they incorporated this into their day by hiring a guitarist to play. Their ceremony consisted of a family ring tradition where they pass the rings around to each person to bless the rings and their marriage. Then, Nikki and Tom read personal vows to each other and ended the ceremony there.

Nikki and Tom are all about simplicity and remembering their day through authentic photos. We snapped some family photos and then spent some time taking photos of just the two of them around the beautiful property.

Dinner

The couple and their family had a relaxing night at the house enjoying each others company. They spent the rest of their night with Chef Jacque – a private French chef they hired for their wedding dinner and dessert.
